David is a natural leader with a background in communications, business analysis, and academia. After earning two graduate degrees and teaching for several years at the post-secondary level, David sought out new challenges in the corporate sphere. In 2011, he moved from London, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta and applied his advanced academic training first to technical writing for Talisman Energy, and then to business analysis for Pembina Pipeline. As David transitioned from creating department-level documentation to company-wide management systems, he was quick to notice the integral role that effective knowledge management plays in the success of expanding companies. In 2012, David and Lee combined their unique skill sets to create Dandly, Inc., a full-service management consulting company with a reputation for excellence and integrity.
David’s roles, but particularly at Talisman (working in North American Operations) and Dandly, have included extensive experience with creating documentation, communications, and consulting for American jurisdictions. His role at AMCHAM Canada (West) includes a focus on marketing, communications, and active participation on the board in general. He chairs the Communications Committee.
