Senior Business Development,  Cole International

Paul is a native Calgarian whose career has spanned over 35 years in the third part party logistics industry.  Paul has an in-depth knowledge of Canadian and U.S. customs brokerage regulations as well as domestic, trans-border and international freight forwarding.  He has been employed for the past 25 years at Cole International, Inc.  – a wholly Canadian owned 3PL company – in the role of  Senior Business Development.  Paul is a Public Relations graduate from Mount Royal University.  He was an active member of The Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA), where, for seven years he acted as an accreditation instructor, and served as President- CIFFA Prairie Division /CIFFA National Board of Directors from 1993 to 1995. Paul was also actively involved in the Calgary Chamber of Commerce as Chairman of the Transportation and Logistics Committee from 2004-2006 and recognized as Chair of the Year in 2006.  Paul subsequently served on the Calgary Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2007-2013.  In 2015 he participated in revising the Competency Standards for International Trade Practitioners for the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT).  FITT is a non-profit organization that provides international business training and professional certification as a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP).
